Many women of our generation believe we were raised to sacrifice and serve, so we became at ease with doing so. When a chance comes for us to move out of our comfort zone, we have a hard time making ourselves take advantage of it. We often decline, thinking our time is too valuable at home – not realizing our “serving role” has become a part of our identity.
